Dear Mr. Calvert,

The undersigned and this law firm represent Larry Rodgers Investments, LLC (“Rodgers Investments”). We are in receipt of Sabal Trail’s November 26, 2013 letter referenced above (the “Request”) requesting to perform certain civil, environmental and cultural resource surveys on the Property. Rodgers Investments respectfully denies Sabal Trail’s request to enter the Property for the reasons set forth below.

Thank you for pointing us to O.C.G.A. § 22-3-88 which addresses the eminent domain rights of pipeline companies. We agree that the cases you cite in your letter provide the general rule of law with respect to survey rights of an entity vested with eminent domain authority. Where are the dates, locations, and times posted? –Our Santa Fe River to FERC

Filed with FERC 26 November 2013:

Our Santa Fe River, Inc., not for profit 501(c)(3), Fort White, FL.

Many residents here in north central Florida do not know about the FERC meetings scheduled to take place starting next week. Aren’t they supposed to be posted in a newspaper in advance of the meeting dates? Residents here use the following publciations: Lake City Journal, Lake City Reporter, Suwannee Democrat, Gilchrist County Journal and Gainesville Sun. Where are the dates, locations and times posted?

Sabal Trail is failing to inform the public –Sandra Jones to FERC

Filed with FERC 26 November 2013:

Sandra Jones, Moultrie, GA.

Sabal Trails has planned the next open house meetings in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida concerning their proposed 36 inch pipeline during the very busy month of December.

In fact, the one planned for Colquitt County is to be held December 12th at 5 pm. This is the same time the traditional Christmas parade is to take place downtown Moultrie.

I am asking FERC to require Sabal Trails to reschedule this meeting and place an ad in the local newspaper to inform the public. Most of the citizens in Colquitt county are not aware of this project. Sabal Trails is failing to neet FERC’s requirements of informing the public of this very dangeruos pipeline.

Kristofer Graham, I am concerned about the proposed Sabal Trail pipeline going though Lowndes County, Georgia. We already have 2 pipelines –Don Brotherton to FERC

Filed with FERC 25 November 2013:

Don Brotherton, Valdosta, GA.

I am totally against this proposed project tentatively coming across our property. We already have 2 pipelines and a 3rd would totally devastate our property value not to mention the safety issues and concerns. Sabal should chose a less populated alternative route.

Follow a route that utilizes public right of ways –Keren Wynn to FERC

Filed with FERC 24 November 2013:

Keren Wynn, Valdosta, GA.

I understand the need for this pipeline, but I am very concerned about the associated safety risks and the negative impact it will have on private property owners in Lowndes and Brooks Counties. Our daughter’s best friend and her family are directly affected with the proposed pipeline being located just a few feet from their home. I have concerns for the safety of this family and for my daughter based on reports of numerous explosions of these types of pipelines in other areas. This pipeline will run through a rural area that is only served by volunteer fire departments that are not capable of handling this type of potential disaster. The focus for Sabal Trail Transmission, LLC is on profits and not for the safety or well being of residents of this area. The proposed route should not directly affect private land owners. This project should be required to follow a route that utilizes public right of ways. Thank you for your assistance.

Respect the rights of citizens and landowners –Danielle Jordan to FERC

Filed with FERC 24 November 2013:

Danielle Jordan, Valdosta, GA.

The proposal to build a natural gas pipeline by Sabal Trail/Spectra Energy is unnecessary and, undoubtedly, not in the best interest of the citizens living along its path. Not only will the construction of this pipeline create safety issues and devalue the property of affected landowners, it also serves as an extension of the fracking industry responsible for contaminated groundwater in drilling areas. The externalized costs of the natural gas industry are far too detrimental to public health for this to be considered when the potential for solar power in our region remains largely untapped.

Furthermore, natural gas has been marketed as Continue reading Respect the rights of citizens and landowners –Danielle Jordan to FERC
